House Pezula

This new house stands proud on top of a hilly site, with protected veld around it.
Although it is a steep site, the brief was to have a house with not too many levels inside, single storey, while capturing the sea views afar. The rooftop gardens and double volume entrance was therefore created. The house opens itself up to capture the beautiful 360degrees of natural views. It was also designed around internal natural courtyards, to protect its owner from wind and other elements, while inviting nature in.
Sabie Lodge

This Lodge will be built just outside the small town of Sabie, on the way to The Kruger National park. Tourists staying over will be able to capture the spectacular natural views from any room. The building is being designed around a large natural & social courtyard, to bring nature to the indoors and to promote social interaction.
Cowley Boutique Hotel

The clients like modern Farmstyle with natural, warm finishes. Privacy for each luxury suite was important on this constrained site. Site Limitations were further overcome, by creating a sense of luxury & space in communal areas.
Pilanesberg Luxury Tented Camp

This luxury tented camp consists of 14 one bedroom and two bedroom exclusive tents, strategically positioned to capture the beautiful views while creating privacy.
The main building has all the amenities a tourist would need, a semi-underground museum; curio shop; lap pool, meeting room, bars, lounge; spa and restaurant. All this, while trying to leave as small as possible footprint for the animals, who were there first and who need to take “centre stage”.
Phoenix Guesthouse

Phoenix means rising from the ashes, and that is exactly what this guesthouse will do, when it gets re-built, after being burnt down. This time it will be bigger, more beautiful and standing proud between the Maluti mountains.
House Berg

This was a personal dream of ours, a holiday 6 sleeper for Air B&B. We wanted it to blend into the beautiful mountainous surrounds.
A visitor should capture all the views, while being inside, but also feel private. This little mountain cabin is well equipped for any traveller’s needs.
House Reid 2

The brief was cost efficiency, compact and modern farmstyle. The result was simplicity, yet its making a statement.
House Stander

This family holiday home needed to have everything, yet be compact.
The spaces are still well proportioned, but there is no wasted space.
A Sleek, ultra modern design was the brief.
House Cardigan

The children are getting older and need their own space- one of a few reasons for expanding to the first floor, for this family.
Internal renovations, allowing for more open plan, and the shuffling of rooms on the ground floor, created a completely new home. We also needed to update and change the style of this old home.
House Outeniqua

This project had its challenges- a very steep site being one of them, but the reward is great when you get to see the views.
This home extension was done on a storey above the original house level, hence the challenge was to link the old and new and designing it in such a way, for it to become a spectacular unit.
