House Bryntirrold

There where many strong architectural forms in the existing structure, which the client wished to keep, which made the task of modernizing this interesting house even more difficult.

The internal layout was also converted into open plan, bringing the garden into the home and vice versa, while creating an entertainer’s dream.

A new elevated roof design completed the new modern look , bringing in essential light to the otherwise dark and gloomy rooms.

House Bergendal

The house was designed with the client in mind- and elderly couple who wants to scale down to the simple life, by blending into the country side and being self-sufficient.

Contemporary Farmstyle was the obvious style choice for this laidback yet stylish lifestyle.

House Eighteen

Space was of the essence in this project, and pushing each square to the maximum was paramount.

Little pockets of exterior zones, linking with the interior, were created where possible, in order to create a feeling of space and luxury.

The interior was opened up and reshuffled to allow for a more practical modern home and for maximum sunlight to flood the home.

House Aurora

The brief here, was modern Farm style and the use of a variety of finishes to create an interesting, unified product that is a feast to the eyes. The property and house was also divided into three, to create a house and 2 separate cottages for extra income. Designed the right way, with privacy for all as one of the aspects to achieve, it has become a dream investment for the client.

House Eldo

This meridian design was tailor made for a couple wanting to scale down. The compact house meant a clever use of high volumes with high ceilings , large sloping roofs and top lights , in order to create a feeling of light and space. Warm colour tones bring it down to earth again, creating a warm homely house.

House Westlake

The large family home is designed in the traditional Tuscan style, in order to adhere to estate regulations.

This is contrasted with the more modern vast open spaces and indoor-outdoor living areas, creating a large, timeless family home.

House Judy

The brief was to turn this rather boring, uncharacteristic home, into a modern vibey double storey haven for family life.

The existing internal spaces where re-worked together with the new additions, to create a coherent family living and entertaining environment.

House Two

This home was tailor made for a single mom and her daughter, therefore the budget and clever use of materials, was important.

Every square metre counts in this house, and simplicity of construction guided our design choices.

House North

The character of the original untouched 1950’s house, we wanted to not just keep, but highlight, pronounce and celebrate, by surrounding it with the contrasting retro-modern extensions.

Tying the contrasting styles together is the clever use of similar colour schemes and finishes on all.

House Kessel

The 2 brothers occupying this house wanted quite unique features, such as a large cinema room, passenger lift and an indoor teriyaki /braai/bar area with smokers lounge.

The exterior façade also portrays their unique, refined industrial taste, something you don’t see every day.
